There’s a lot that can go wrong with building materials. FRP, of fiberglass reinforced plastic, avoids many potential problems. Free of the potential to rot, rust, or dent, FRP is ideal for harsh environments.
If you’re looking for a material that can out-perform stainless steel by decades, look no further than FRP. This composite is made of resin, fiberglass reinforcement, the additives of your choice, and finished off with a resistant finish.
Your FRP panels can be installed over existing walls and are ideal for any room in your home or commercial space. Bathrooms, kitchens, offices, classrooms—the list of applications for FRP panels is endless! If you’re interested in learning more, get in touch with Precision Custom Construction, Inc. today.
Cost of FRP Sheets
For such a versatile material, the cost of FRP sheets is a question that always comes up. The price you pay for your fiberglass reinforced plastic installation depends on the amount of panels you require and what they will be used for.
On average, you can expect to pay between $2.73-3.75 per sheet. But to find out what to expect for your unique construction, it’s important to give us a call and discuss it in-depth. We’re happy to provide our clients with free, no-obligation estimates at the beginning of every job.
Inspected and Up to Standard
When one of our clients invests in FRP panels, we want to make sure they do exactly what they’re promised to do. That’s why every panels we receive goes through an inspection process by one of our detail-oriented, certified contractors.
Panels that do not pass inspection prior to installation will be discarded in favor of ones that are functional, ensuring that you always have the best materials possible in your home or commercial structure!
Installation on Multiple Substrates
The substrate is the material on top of which your fiberglass reinforced plastic will be installed. While we don’t recommend non-porous surfaces such as metal or ceramic, gypsum, plywood, concrete, and brick, are all valid options for installation.
The surface will be evened out through sanding, plastering, or other methods, and then the appropriate adhesive will be applied. Precision Custom Construction, Inc. will always have necessary materials on hand for any installation.
Precision Custom Construction, Inc. makes safety a priority on any job site. One thing to note when it comes to FRP, is the fact it should not be left in proximity to a heat source.
We do not recommend FRP for walls close to ovens, or other cooking devices. Additionally, the glues used during installation are always handled with the utmost care by our experienced contractors.
